•  Membership

In order to strengthen her networks at national level and be able to influence policy, SAP became a member of the Network for Adolescent and Youth (NAYA) Uganda Chapter in Africa. This increases SAP’s membership to six in addition to the International Alliance of Women (IAW), Uganda Child Rights NGO Network (UCRNN), Uganda Network for AIDS Service Organizations (UNASO), End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes (ECPAT- Uganda) and Uganda NGO Forum.

In addition, SAP applied to become a member of the Human Rights Network (HURINET) and Coalition for the political Accountability to Women (COPAWO). SAP’s membership helps in bringing issues raised at the grassroots level to national level, provides avenues for staff members to get more training opportunities in various fields and for building alliances that are necessary for advocacy and policy change.

In her campaign activities SAP joins the rest of the world to celebrate the Day of the African Child, Women’s Day, 16 days of Activism and the Day of Child Prevention by contributing to newspaper supplements.
